Ingredients (In Order of Appearance)

Stable Girl (first job, afternoon and weekend shifts caring for horses), CNA Certification (obtained in high school, nurse plans later abandoned), Food & Beverage Experience (server, bartender, “smoothie master”), Interior Architecture & Design Degree (Queens University of Charlotte), Zac (met 2021, knew she’d marry him from the start, provides excessive faith and support), Design Work (custom home construction, kitchen and bath), House Flipping (with Zac), Evie & Ellis (daughters, ages 3 and 18 months, inspiration for business name), Studio E Events (started as hobby, grew unexpectedly), Hand-Crafted Rentals (designed by Chelsey, built by Zac), The Drifter (coffee/cocktail bar in horse trailer—full circle from stable girl).
⚠️ CONTAINS: Obsessive focus on small details (beneficial for design, occasionally problematic for efficiency). Garden maintenance. Poultry care (chickens, quail, ducks). Strong opinions about ingredient labels. Collaboration over competition. Iced vanilla lattes with extra espresso. Jalapeño margaritas. Gyoza consumption. Dreams of travel.

Small Print You Should Actually Read:

On Details: “I fixate on small details. This is great in some cases, especially in design, but sometimes I get caught up in a small detail when doing something that ends up slowing me down or taking me away from something more important.”

Manufacturing Process:

Started with one rental bar built in the garage. Expanded through hand-crafted pieces combining Chelsey’s design vision with Zac’s construction skills. Believes in collaboration, not competition. Partners with other vendors when needed. “Anything we don’t have, we have a partner that can supply.”

The Drifter Story:

From caring for horses in stables to serving coffee & cocktails from a horse trailer. The mobile coffee/cocktail bar represents the full-circle journey—taking something from her past and transforming it into something beautiful and functional. Just like everything else she designs.

Quality Control:

“Sometimes I tell him his faith in me is too strong.” — on Zac’s belief in her abilities (he supports almost all her ideas).

Best Advice Received:

“Failure is inevitable. To succeed, you have to fail first. And that’s okay.”

Life Philosophy:

“Don’t forget to enjoy life.”

Non-Negotiable:

“People should thoroughly read ingredient labels.” (See what she did there?)

Future Vision:

Continue growth. Build a team. “This business has so much potential in the event industry.”

Current Status:

Full-time stay-at-home mom. Full-time entrepreneur. Somehow managing four businesses, two toddlers, and a garden. Growth unexpected but welcomed as a blessing.
