New addition to CHS airport
Global hospitality and entertainment company Delaware North has launched Ashley Cooper Provisions at the Charleston International Airport as part of the company’s 10-year contract extension. The 50-seat venue features Charleston-inspired bites and cocktails. Ashley Cooper Provisions replaces and expands on the space where Harvest & Grounds was previously.

Beginning April 4th, Avelo Airlines is launching nonstop flights between Myrtle Beach International Airport and Manchester-Boston Regional Airport.
Airport lounge now open
The Club CHS, Charleston airport's lounge, is now open with new lighting, "vibrant murals" and updated menus. Featuring six separate zones, The Club CHS will be open Monday through Sunday 4:10 a.m. – 8:30 p.m. ET. Access is available to outbound travelers, with a valid boarding pass, who participate in the Priority Pass membership program through premium credit cards like Chase Sapphire, American Express and Diner’s Club International. For others, a day pass will be available for $50 per person. AAA members can receive a discounted rate of $42.50. Children under 24 months can accompany a member at no cost.
Carnival Cruise Line will no longer sail from Charleston
Charleston decided not to renew its agreement with Carnival back in 2022, and the Carnival Sunshine will no longer operate from the port after the end of 2024. Although Charleston will no longer be an origination or end point for cruise ships, it will still be used as a destination for ships, giving passengers the ability to visit the city.
Buc-ee’s will open second location in SC
Hardeeville City Council gave preliminarily approval to a development that will bring a Buc-ee's off Exit 8 of Interstate 95 near Hilton Head and Savannah. Its progression and conclusion will coincide with the South Carolina Department of Transportation’s I-95 Widening and Exit 8 Redevelopment Project.
The new Buc-ee's will bring around 200 jobs and is expected to open in 2028.
