CudaCo opens new spot

James Island seafood spot CudaCo is introducing a new concept – DECKHOUSE Crudo Wine Bar, located right next to CudaCo at 765 Folly Rd. The new spot will be open Wed-Sun from 3-10 PM and serve bar snacks, ceviche, and crudo alongside wine and beer.

Jack of Cups opens all-day breakfast spot

The team behind Folly Beach's Jack of Cups Saloon opened Trading Post, bringing all-day breakfast and their globally inspired menu to a James Island café format. The counter-service spot at 915 Folly Rd. serves buttermilk biscuits, an "All Day Breakfast Situation" with eggs and whipped potatoes, plus familiar Jack of Cups items like bulgogi cheesesteak and Thai ginger peanut soup. Currently open 8 a.m.–3 p.m., hours will extend to 8 p.m. once their beer and wine permit is approved.

Dollar Tree to open second James Island store

The retailer will open a second location on December 4 at 856 Folly Road.
